Davos Klosters Mountains (DKM)

From mountain railways to hotel business or gastronomy – the work offer at Davos Klosters Mountains (DKM) is very versatile! The company covers an area of more than 150 m2. In winter and summer, DKM operates mountain railways, hotels, hiking trails, slopes, and toboggan runs. The offer includes 700 kilometres of hiking and biking trails in summer as well as 270 kilometres on 75 slopes with 33 lifts in winter.

DKM includes the public limited companies Davos Klosters Bergbahnen AG (DKB), Bergbahnen Rinerhorn AG and Sportbahnen Pischa AG. DKB is owning the mountain resorts Jakobshorn and Parsenn/Gotschna as well as various hotels and restaurants.

In total, DKM has 24 restaurants in the mountain resorts Jakobshorn, Parsenn, Pischa and Rinerhorn as well as 7 additional restaurants and 7 bars at the bottom of the mountains in the valley. About 20 mountain hotels with 2,000 beds, several mountain resorts with state-of-the-art apartments and a four-star-hotel are also part of DKM. 

All-year long, DKM has about 140 employees plus an additional 400 seasonal workers in winter. If the leased businesses are included, DKM employs more than 1,200 people in the Davos Klosters region, making it one of the largest employers of the region.
