The Davos Hospital is a modern and renowned hospital with acute care. The public limited company (Spital Davos AG) offers comprehensive health care for the local population, second home residents, and guests. The experts in surgery and orthopaedics, internal medicine, care and nursing, as well as sport and prevention, keep you healthy and support you in your everyday life.

In addition to its expertise in the field of respiratory diseases (pneumology), Davos Hospital has a wide range of specialist departments: anaesthesia, angiology, surgery and orthopaedics, gastroenterology, gynaecology, ENT, internal medicine, cardiology, paediatrics, nephrology, oncology, radiology, neurology, and urology. The patients benefit from a holistic, individual care which is ensured by a close cooperation between the departments. A modern laboratory and a 365-day emergency centre with rescue service complete the medical services.  

The public limited company also includes the nursing home Alberti and the professional home care Spitex Davos. The nursing home Alberti has its focus on personal care and nursing. It includes a long-term and transitional care unit with 32 places in modern single and double rooms. Since the home is connected to the hospital, medical care is also ensured on site if required. Spitex Davos, on the other hand, is helping people of all age to live independently at home. Its services include care and counselling, housekeeping as well as meal services.

With about 320 employees, the Davos Hospital is one of the biggest employers of the region. As a teaching hospital, Davos Hospital is training sub-assistants in the fields of internal medicine, surgery/orthopaedics, and anaesthesia in cooperation with the Universities of Zurich and Basel. Furthermore, around 50 employees take part in a wide range of basic, advanced, and further training courses every year.
